Allergen Free Chicken Marsala

This recipe is gluten free, dairy free, soy free, antibiotic/hormone free as are just about all of my recipes! Eating allergen free should taste good too!

Ingredients:


3 chicken breasts sliced thin

8 oz Baby Bella Mushrooms sliced

Gluten free flour

Salt, pepper, parsley

5 cloves Garlic minced

1 bottle Marsala cooking wine

1 tbsp Ghee

2 eggs beaten


Directions:


  1. Combine flour, salt, pepper, & parsley & set aside

  2. Melt ghee over medium high heat in frying pan

  3. Dip chicken in flour mixture to brown nicely (in batches adding more ghee as needed)

  4. Remove chicken from pan and increase heat to medium high. Add half bottle of Marsala and scrape pan to deglaze.

  5. Add sliced mushrooms, minced garlic & cook 5 minutes

  6. Add back in chicken and remainder of Marsala. Add splash of coconut or almond milk, combine and cook another 5min.

  7. Garnish with more parsley

  8. Serve with garlic green beans & mashed potatoes, substituting with ghee and almond milk in place of butter and whole milk.
