I’m always looking to add a super food to my family’s meals. I kept hearing about “nutritional yeast” but the sound of it was less than appetizing to me. I learned more and have now found a few good ways to incorporate it. First, I sprinkle it into smoothies that I make. I use frozen berries, almond milk, flaxseed powder, chia seeds, and now - nutritional yeast. (It comes in a powder in a spice jar like garlic powder and such.) No one knows it’s in there, shhh! I’ve also sprinkled on salads and most recently mixed in with my bread crumb mixture for chicken cutlets.
